While many of our classes are already at capacity, some remain open and are
waiting for you to register! These classes include:
 Intensive Marbling on Paper and Fabric;
 Coptic Cross Stitch Journal;
 Funky Foldy: Fun Structures for the Studio or Classroom;
 Drawing and Lettering Sketchbook;
 Writing in the Blanks;
 Design with Scraps to Make a Hard Cover Long Stitch Journal;
 Interlocked – Woven Paper in Book Arts – Structure and Ornament;
 Stick Binding;
 Secretary Box;
 Introduction to Artist Books;
 Moving Steps Binding;
 Movable Magic: The Animating Binding; Creativity, Collage, and Coptic
Stitch;
 Nengajo Linocut Paper Quilt Exchange;
 Four Seasons in a Spiral Tunnel Book; Collage Techniques for Altered
Books;
 Block Printed Flag Books.

The catalog contains detailed workshop information and details on housing
and other conference activities. The conference attracts over 200 book and
paper artists from around the world. It includes five days of one- to
three-day workshops, a Trade Show, an Artists’ Fair, a Faculty-Staff
Exhibition, and several evening events. FOBA is an excellent opportunity
for community, networking, and learning new skills. Workshop registration
is open through May 31, 2024.
