View all threadsHello all,
Sending this out as a reminder, I'll be giving a demonstration and Q&A this Saturday at 1pm CST of one of the gold tooling processes I use most and focus on in my Fundamentals of Finishing workshop. For those who won't be able to make it, I do intend to record it and upload it afterwards.
As a part of the Society of Gilders Global Gilding Symposium, I will be giving a Zoom Demonstration and Discussion on Gold Tooling, FREE and open to all.
In my lecture, I will be sharing some of my work, discussing the different types of gold tooling processes, and doing a live demonstration of the gold tooling process that I use most frequently, and will be holding a Q&A during and after my demonstration. This will be a free event, open to all, so whether you’re a bookbinder who is curious about what lies ahead in your journey, someone who already has already built up skills and want to see my process and approach, have questions about the nuance, a decorative artist interested in a gilding style you may not have seen before, or are just curious about bookbinding and my process, I hope to have something for you in my presentation.
