The Nominations Committee invites all Guild of Book Workers members to
submit nominations for colleagues to serve on the Board of Directors, with
terms beginning in mid-2026.
Nominations—including self-nominations—may be submitted by completing this
nomination from February 1st through April 1st, 2026. Please note that all
nominees must be willing to serve.

The form may be filled out multiple times and shared with the community.
The job descriptions and term lengths for the positions can be found on the
GBW website under volunteers.

The following positions will be up for election:
President
Journal Co-Chair (one current co-chair will continue)
Newsletter Chair
Standards Chair
Each nomination should include the following information, which will be
shared with the Board:
Name of nominee
Contact information (email and phone)
Institutional affiliation (if applicable)
Position they would be best suited for (have a drop-down menu of the
choices)
A brief statement outlining the nominee’s qualifications, provided by
the nominator
Based on the nominations received, the Nominations Committee will develop a
slate of candidates to present to the Board for consideration and then to
the membership for a vote.
Serving on the Board is a meaningful way to support the Guild’s mission and
contribute to the vitality of our community. If you—or someone you know—is
passionate about the future of GBW, we encourage you to submit a nomination.
