Artist's Book Talk by Suzanne Moore, online and in person, Thursday Dec. 15, 6 pm

GBW Member Suzanne Moore will speak in Boston tomorrow night at 6:00pm. For

From John Buchtel, Curator of Rare Books and Head of Special Collections at
the Athenaeum: "There are still seats available to hear Suzanne Moore's
talk, 'Much Ado About Nothing,' in support of the book arts, the Materialia
Lumina exhibition, and the CODEX Foundation. Her books are fabulous, and
she's a wonderful speaker.

Suzanne Moore is a lettering artist, designer, painter, and printmaker
who combines contemporary vision with traditional techniques. She was one
of two American calligraphers and illuminators to work on the monumental St.
John’s Bible
(2011). Her editioned work *Zero: Cypher of Infinity
*(2014), along
with the two unique manuscripts that inspired it, Zero: Faces of the
Void
(2007)
and Zero: Cypher of Infinity (2009), are featured in Materialia Lumina |
Luminous Books: Concept & Craft in Contemporary Artists’ Books
, on view
now at the Boston Athenaeum through March 11, 2023."
