Dear Colleagues,
Have you encountered an odor in books that needed to be safely removed?
Maybe it was a cigarette smoke odor, mildew or cat urine. And maybe you
used kitty litter, volcanic minerals or another substance, such as
zeolites? We are interested in hearing from you as we plan to compare
various methods.
If you are willing to share your technique, please write to:
Bill Minter, Penn State University Libraries Conservation Centre:
wdm14@psu.edu
Thanks,
Bill
