For Sale: L Weights

Hello All,

After a long time out of stock, pandemic delays, etc…  I have ordered a new
batch. I expect them to be delivered in October (but I don’t have a firm
date yet from the manufacturer).

L Weights are sold in pairs. They were designed by one of my former
teachers, Tini Miura.

The weights are sold by the pair. They fit together to form a 4 x 6 x 2
inch block. In other words, individually they are 4 x 4 x 2 inch blocks
with a 2 inch cube out of one corner. The weights are approximately 7.5
pounds each. Zinc plated steel. You can see a picture of them on my
currently frozen website landing page at www.handbookbinding.com

They are admittedly a bit over built, but they are very helpful for
building clamshell box trays (see image). They are heavy so they stay in
place while you are building and so they can be used as a compact,
controlling weight. As a pair they are similar in size to a brick but
substantially heavier.

The new price for the weights will be $232.50/pair (plus S&H). The cost of
steel has gone up since pre-pandemic days, unfortunately! But, until
September 30, 2023 you can get them for the pre-order price of
$212.50/pair.

Once the stock arrives you can opt to pick them up from me, by appointment,
at North Bennet Street School in Boston. Or, Shipping and Handling in the
U.S. mainland will be $30 for one pair, $50 for two pair, $60 for 3-4 pair.
For larger orders or overseas shipping please inquire.

PLEASE CONTACT ME OFF LIST TO ORDER OR INQUIRE: jaltepeter@nbss.edu or
jeff@handbookbinding.com

Orders will be invoiced via Square for online payments (or checks also
accepted). Note, pre-orders are already coming in fast so don’t wait too
long to place an order!

Thanks for your interest and patience. Please don’t hesitate to contact me
if you have further questions.

Sincerely,
Jeff
