View all threadsHello Colleagues -
Particulates created from book treatment and binding activities in our
small lab sometimes accumulate at such a rate that they contaminate
surfaces more than we're comfortable with. For example, when boards are
sanded, leather pared, or wood, bone, and metal tools are shaped.
Therefore, I plan to purchase a small downdraft table for use during these
types of activities. While it's easy to find ones for wood and paper-based
materials, manufacturers don't want to endorse the use of their machines
for leather. Does anyone here have a downdraft table that they use and have
been happy with? Thanks for any info you can share!
Best wishes,
Marieka
