Make Your Mark: Printing Without a Press - Zoom Class - Jul 19, 2023, 1:00–3:30pm - Center for Book Arts, NYC How does one print without a press and still create images for one’s own artistic practices? Make Your Mark will explore various image making possibilities via the use of hand cut stencils, natural elements, found objects and designing and creating one’s own stamps. This book celebrates the resilience and diversity in nature and in all of us. Class will create designs related to nature in response to Haiku poems, and bring them both together in a miniature accordion book. I will provide a sheet with the Haikus and Title text, however if you would like to have your own, please print them on white paper, each haiku limited to three lines.
