Hi from the Bay, I just wanted to chime in about BART prices. I sure wish it was $5 to get from the Oakland airport to Powell Station, but unfortunately it is $11.35 one way. From SFO to Powell Station is $10.00. (BART charges by distance, and going to or from an airport bumps up the price.) There will also be an additional $3 charge to get a Clipper Card to load your fare onto, unless you are smartphone savvy and want to use Apple Wallet or Google Wallet (more info here: https://www.clippercard.com/ClipperWeb/pay-with-phone ).
