Hello, Friends! Please join the GBW New England Chapter for our upcoming workshop! Bexx Caswell-Olson will be introducing us to the art of making book weights out of BEANIE BABIES. Yes, you heard that right. We will be turning our long forgotten little friends into useful tools for our binderies (using steel shot! No lead!) You're welcome to bring in your own favorite beanie babies from your childhood, but if your mom threw yours out like mine did (I'm not bitter) we have a stash you can choose from. The workshop will be held on March 29th from 1pm-4pm at the Northeast Document Conservation Center in Andover, MA and we will be giving a tour of the space before the class begins! Double Whammy!
