The interior dimension of the drawers is 43" wide, by 32 front to back, and 2 1/4" deep. The custom made formica-covered work surface is 49" deep by x 72.5" wide. It rests on top of the cabinets and extends at the right over storage compartments. The height of the work surface is 35".
