DeGolyer Competition Submissions - Winter Weather Conditions Across the U.S. For those of you who are submitting entries to the DeGolyer Competition for this year, we are well aware that there is inclement weather in large parts of the country. We would like to encourage anyone who is hesitant about sending their entry materials to wait until conditions in their area have improved. As such, we will accept entries that arrive after the due date, as long as they are postmarked by Feb 1st. Anyone who is unsure about their ability to postmark their entry by Feb 1st for any reason (weather or otherwise) should contact me directly about the possibility of a brief extension.
