Hello everyone,

(Please excuse cross-posting.)

The Guild of Book Workers https://guildofbookworkers.org/ Standards of
Excellence in Hand Bookbinding seminar will be held from October 20-22,
2022 in Atlanta, GA. We are offering scholarships to cover the cost of
registration fees, four nights lodging in the conference hotel, and a
ticket to the banquet dinner. You do not have to be a member of our
organization to apply for a scholarship, however it is expected that you
become a member prior to attending the event. Reduced membership rates are
available for students. More information is available here:
https://guildofbookworkers.org/membership.

The online application is now open:

https://gbw.formstack.com/forms/scholarships2022

As part of the application, the committee requests a short statement of
interest and two letters of reference. The statement should describe what
you hope to get out of the seminar and how attending would impact your
work. The letters of reference can be from an instructor, supervisor, or
client and need not be lengthy. Applications are due July 8, 2022.

If you have any questions, please contact Henry Hebert at
vicepresident@guildofbookworkers.org. Feel free to forward this email and
spread the word!

Thank you,

The GBW Standards Scholarship Committee
