The Guild of Book Workers <https://guildofbookworkers.org/> Standards of Excellence in Hand Bookbinding seminar will be held from October 20-22, 2022 in Atlanta, GA. We are offering scholarships to cover the cost of registration fees, four nights lodging in the conference hotel, and a ticket to the banquet dinner. You do not have to be a member of our organization to apply for a scholarship, however it is expected that you become a member prior to attending the event. The online application is now open: https://gbw.formstack.com/forms/scholarships2022 As part of the application, the committee requests a short statement of interest and two letters of reference. The statement should describe what you hope to get out of the seminar and how attending would impact your work. The letters of reference can be from an instructor, supervisor, or client and need not be lengthy. Applications are due July 8, 2022.
