Asof 4/12/07, GBW has 832 members. Of these, 79 are new members having joined since 4/06. I sent out Chapter lists in February so I will do it again soon. I send out a list or labels whenever asked. Numbers for this are: 15 in January (I sent out 34 and only 15 renewed) 0 in february 52 March 1 April 15 May 263 June 240 July 59 August 51 September 0 October 51 November 19 December This system has made renewals less of a burden. I have managed to send reminders by e-mail (or postcard). Every person joining or renewing receives an e-mail acknowledgement or letter (which I can print out at the same time. If an e-mail address doesn't work, I send a letter. 115 members do not list an e-mail address. I sent Eric the membership e-mail list in March. he also checks in with me when someone tries to join the GBW listserv as to whether they are indeed a member. We sold an Excel file of addresses (only those members who checked that they wanted their information available electronically) to Metal Edge for $90 (they then can add new names to their database.) A set of paper labels was purchased by Mr. Christman for $90.
