Forwarding on behalf of Erin Fletcher and the Exhibits Committee.

Hello Chairs,

The Exhibits Committee is looking for any Chapter that might be interested
in sponsoring a scholarship to cover the cost of the entry fee and
membership for 1 year. The value of the scholarship would be $145. We hope
that this will help offset a financial barrier that may deter someone from
entering their work into the exhibition.

If the recipient wishes to submit a second item they will be responsible
for that fee which will be $15 (I believe). The recipient is also
responsible for covering the cost of shipping their item(s).

The DEI committee will be reviewing the applications and selecting
recipients. If you choose to participate, your funds may go to any member
in the Guild (or non-member) who applies and is selected, they will not be
allocated to members of specific chapters. If you wish to sponsor an
additional scholarship for your Chapter members only, we invite you to do
so and can help assist with that.

The exhibition will be juried and recipients are not guaranteed to have
their work in the traveling exhibit. If you have any questions, please feel
free to email Erin at erin@herringbonebindery.com

It would be great to receive a response by March 31st!

Thanks,
Erin

Hi,
The Northwest Chapter board does not meet until May...but we do conduct a
lot of business via email. Supporting this scholarship seems like something
we're interested in doing. Any chance you could extend your deadline a week
or so?
Maybe to April 10?
Thanks for considering.

Forwarding on behalf of Erin Fletcher and the Exhibits Committee.

Hello Chairs,

The Exhibits Committee is looking for any Chapter that might be
interested in sponsoring a scholarship to cover the cost of the entry fee
and membership for 1 year. The value of the scholarship would be $145. We
hope that this will help offset a financial barrier that may deter someone
from entering their work into the exhibition.

Thanks,
Erin
