Chapter Chair meeting

Hi all,

I wanted to add a couple things to what was discussed at the chapter chair
meeting. I was having connection issues at the beginning, so it was a
little hard for me to keep up with the conversation. I apologize for not
adding anything to that discussion.
For Rocky Mountain, we share access to the official email. We have
co-chairs but it ends up being one of us that checks the email, which is
fine. I think it would be a little confusing if two people were in there
attempting to respond or send emails. We're also fine with how we
currently communicate, which is through email.

For the discussion of people being in the guild but not in chapters, It
occurred to me after the meeting that another reason is maybe they're
living far outside what appears to be the chapter hub. I know for us, we do
have a handful of people that are in the RM region but not in the
chapter and they are well outside Colorado or Utah. Maybe they feel there's
nothing going on in their area with the chapter. The immediate solution
that comes to mind is virtual events. I also have plans to revamp our
website's landing page into something that will let people know why chapter
membership would benefit them.

Best,
Holly

It looks like most everyone can do Tuesday night January 21st. The time
will be 8:00 EST (5:00 Pacific).

Please let me know if you have some specific things you'd like to discuss.
Hopefully, Insiya will be joining us so we can learn more about what
communications can do to support the chapters. I'd also like to
discuss strategies for getting more people to join local chapters.

Let me know if you have any questions.

All best,
Todd

Hi everyone,

I'd like to schedule a chapter chair meeting and invite our
Communications Chair, Insiya Dhatt, to join us so we can ask her any
questions you may have and she can get a better sense from all of us of
what our needs might be.

I'd like to know everyone's availability to attend a meeting the evenings
of January 20-23 (Monday-Thursday) to see if there might be one evening
that week which would work for as many of us as possible.

Just let me know which evenings out of those 4 you might be able to
attend.

Thanks,
Todd
