Hi Henry-
Thank you so much for these notes. And I am sorry I could not be there.
I am very interested in the idea of having one coordinated chapter event. Right now I am in conversation with Jane Carlin (member who is director of the Collins Library at the University of Puget Sound) about several nationally interesting programs—lectures, artist’s presentations, and collections tours. I think any one of these could be a great Guild program that would be sponsored by the Chapters. Maybe we could talk more about this?

Hey folks,
We had a really great chapter chair meeting at Standards - I wish you all could have joined us! Here are the notes that I took:

Some really great suggestions at the bottom.
Thanks,
HH

Hi,
I won't be attending standards this year (alas)...just too much on my calendar. Would you be 9k with forwarding any notes to me as well?
I understand about the challenges of a hybrid in person /zoom meeting.

Ok, it sounds like we should have a decent number of folks attending. There will be time for discussion and we can take a break before the board meeting.
@California chairs: I don't think we will be able to do a zoom option. In my experience running hybrid in-person/online meetings, it's very difficult for everyone to be able to hear what's being said. I'll just take notes and forward those along afterward.
See y'all soon!

Hey folks,
Standards is coming up next week and hopefully a few of you are able to travel to Atlanta. We have a chapter meeting scheduled from 4:00-6:00 pm on the 19th. My attention has been divided by a bunch of different projects lately, so I haven't had the opportunity to think very hard about how we should best use that time. The board meeting starts immediately after, so I'd prefer that we don't use the entire 2 hours - but apart from general updates what other topics/business would y'all like to cover?
Some ideas we have touched on in past meetings:
- A new member orientation packet
- A Coordinated advertising campaign
- Easily reproducible ideas for events/engagement (like digital exhibits, swaps, etc)
The agenda is yours, so let me know what you'd like to put on it.
Thanks,
HH
