Hi Board Members, Chapter Chairs, Committee members,

A few important updates & changes to our communications - this information
is available in the board area.

  • *Chapter Emails - New, Transfer & Updates: *

All requests for new chapter emails, transfer of chapter email & updates
related to chapter google accounts will be done with a request via the form
below
All requests for reimbursements/payment must be with a GBW account - please
don't use personal accounts as it takes time to validate the account and
make sure it's legit. Every chapter should have a treasurer email address
and you can request it here.

Chapter Email Request Form

Email Request Form

  • GBW Online Registration Request Form:

Create forms for chapter events, workshops, exhibitions, grants awards. It
is preferable if all registration forms that require payments be done via
Formstack (we will be moving to Jotform in June for better experience) . We
have added the ability to request a grant/fund form and exhibitions.

  • Social Media (A request to all)

If you want anything posted on social media via the GBW complete this form:
https://forms.gle/SfGQfjJBuJR3QETj6

Any news, events, workshops related to the guild (chapter or committees)
please add @GUILDOFBOOKWORKERS as a collaborator in your post. Since the
chapters and committees already do so much for social media, I would like
to propose one change going forward - when you create a post in instagram,
can you please add the @Guildofbookworkers as the collaborator - it means
that your post will also be shown to all the Guild members.

Directions to do that are here:

Steps to invite a collaborator to a post you're creating:

  1. Before you publish your post, tap Tag people.
  2. Tap Invite collaborator.
  3. Search for @guildofbookworkers to add as a collaborator, then tap the
    account.
  4. Tap Done

One more time  Website Requests form
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ZKG9CWKR0bXZCSrSuAVRVTinjKc-C02-kKpjrmKR6jo/edit?usp=sharing(if
you have changes/updates for the website)

I know it's a lot for a Saturday afternoon, but please take the time to
read through and please let me know if something doesn't work or is
incorrect.

Hi Insiya,

Could you remind me as to the intended puprose of the treasurer email? That
is, who should we be directing to email the trearure email versus the main
catch-all email address?

Sincerely,
Parry

Hi Parry,

This was discussed in the chapter meeting I attended where Larry requested
all reimbursements and payment requests come via an official email.

The treasurer email is an option if you have someone in that role who needs
a separate email from the chair email.

When any requests are made to the treasurer related to finances it comes
from a gbw account. This will help Larry in verifying and expediting the
process.

All of it is an option to help you.
