[GBW] GBW Marking Time Exhibition on view at University of Washington Seattle.

The Guild of Book Workers Marking Time exhibition is now on view at the 
University of Washington Seattle until February 19. The show then 
travels to the Book Arts Program at the J. Willard Marriott Library,
University of Utah in Salt Lake City.

Marking Time features fifty works that will travel to eight venues 
across the US, ending its run at Dartmouth College in March, 2011. Fine 
binding, printing and artists' books are all well represented in the 

 From December 7-24, 2009, a portion of the work will be in the Special 
Collections Lobby Exhibition space in the basement of the South Wing of 
the Allen Library. On January 6, 2010 this work will move from the 
Special Collections Lobby to Suzzallo Library 102 and be on display 
there until February 19, 2010. The remainder of the exhibition will 
remain on the First Floor Balcony of the Allen Library, North Wing until 
February 19, 2010.

 From January 4, 2010 – March, 2010, a companion exhibition, “Time and 
Again”, artists’ books on the theme of time drawn from the Book Arts 
Collection in Special Collections at the University of Washington 
Libraries will be on display.

Marking Time is accompanied by a printed catalog that features full 
color photographs and complete descriptions of all fifty exhibited 
works, biographies of the artists, and statements by the exhibition's 
jurors and GBW president and exhibitions chair. The exhibition catalog
